Senior Drama classes help children to develop their acting skills so they can perform confidently.

  Children continue to work on the essentials of stagecraft including vocal work,

confident movement and character acting and more script work is introduced at this level. 

​

They are introduced to breathing techniques and good posture to improve their voice

and gain a better understanding of body language and movement

​

The lessons include theatre games, mime, movement, improvisation and lots of acting techniques.

 

Most of all, the children have lots of fun whilst learning invaluable skills.

 

Every week the children work with a variety of styles including drama, comedy, scripts, mime and prop work and

through regular performances they develop their confidence on stage and their knowledge of the theatre.

All the work we do in class leads to a performance at the end of each term.
